Chicagoan and classically trained musician/MC Sxvxnt first made his footprint as a rapper in 2010 via the densely structured lyricism and classic boom bap sound of his lauded self-released solo project, “Delayed Entry EP”. His subsequently acclaimed 2011 “Crash Course” leak series was marked by a wider ranging selection of sonic backdrops, showcased his growth as both an MC and songwriter, provided early glimpses of his abilities as a producer and led to his first tour, powered by Brooklyn Bodega (now known as Bodega Agency) in 2012. Scattered guest spots with a number of top tier wordsmiths kept his profile simmering during a stretch wherein he relocated to Los Angeles and took a step back from working on solo material in favor of focusing on incorporating his musicianship into production and film scoring. His rapping reemergence was marked via his 2018 alignment with Santa Monica-based music imprint Sound Of Cannae, a 2020 relocation to Charleston, SC, a 202 run of college radio charting singles, a 2022 runner-up finish for Charleston’s Hip Hop Act of the year award, the 2023 release of his EP “Wayfare, Vol. 1” and his forthcoming Medal Stand Mini-Tour with Tyrie and DJ Moe Beans.
