Immerse yourself in emotionally charged sounds allusive of 2000’s rock. Canella is an indie-rock band from Albany, NY + Bogotá, Colombia that ignites female-fronted rock nostalgia. They are two time winners of WCDB Radio’s ‘Song of the Year’ for their singles “Quiet Love” (2021) and “No Escape”(2022). Their debut album Can’t Make You Smile screams DIY pop-rock. The record is infused with slight metal undertones that decore this revenge journal of songs in a classic ‘Burn Book’ style. Their music is inspired and dedicated to former bandmate and best friend, Kyle Robinson, who tragically passed away in a car accident in 2020.
