Carolina Record Shop is a concept installation created by DIFFERENT WRLD to make the Buncombe County Special collections room more welcoming, comfortable and inclusive. we came together with a team of artists & archivists to redesign the room to be more inviting, ditch the dewey decimal system, and highlight the history of Black Asheville.
